4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS-KOTA KINABALU/MOUNT KINABALU SUMMIT CLIMB
Day 01- 6th October 2005
Meet and assisted upon arrival at KK airport. Depart on a 2 hrs, 90 km drive across the spectacular Crocker Range to the ecologically unique environs of Mt. Kinabalu . Overnight at Park hostel. (Dinner)
Day 02 – 7th October 2005
Transfer to Timpohon Gate (1,830m/6,000 ft) to begin the trek with your mountain guide. This takes about 5-7 hours with timeout to look at the views, birds, animals, soil and rocks of the various vegetation zones up to Laban Rata Resthouse (3,290m/10,700ft). (Full Board)
Day 03- 8th October 2005
Begin final ascent at 3 am to greet the dawn at the summit ( 6am ). The stupendous view to be had at 4,096.2m/13,432 ft before the clouds rise is well worth the previous day’s exertions; on a clear day, one could almost see all of Sabah . Breakfast at the Resthouse before descending to Timpohon Gate to transfer to Park HQ for lunch. Return to Kota Kinabalu (KK) in the afternoon. Check – in to city hotel. Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast / Lunch)
Day 04 – 09th October 2005
After breakfast, free at own leisure till pick-up transfer to airport for departure home. (Breakfast)

After breakfast, pick-up from hotel at 0730 hrs; take 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu to Beaufort. Board the local train to Pangi (Starting point of rafting), which takes about 3 hours. Participants will be given a short briefing. Raft down for about 2 hours to the ending point. After lunch, board train to Beaufort, which takes 1 ½ hours. Proceed back to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast/ Lunch)
